Mental health awareness program to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of psychotic disorders, encouraging early recognition and treatment. This is achieved through the dissemination of information resources, public information forums, and presentations to youth in both school and community-based agencies.

A four-week education and support group for family members and friends of individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. The program provides mental health resources and information on the topics associated with daily living as well as the mental health recovery process. Topics presented in group sessions include information about: schizophrenia and psychosis, treatment options, coping as a family, mental health system and criminal justice system, and advocacy and support. This program is offered in regions across the province as well as online.

Provides information, system navigation, and supportive counselling to families of with a loved one experiencing a first episode of psychosis. Provides families with counselling support to psycho-educational courses, support groups, training for families to be peer facilitators, educational resource in print and on-line.

This program provides support and justice system navigation to families of people with mental illness who have come in contact with the law while promoting change in mental health and justice, as well as support and information for people with mental health issues who have come into contact with the criminal justice system.

Support initiatives aim to increase the ability of participants to meet personal recovery goals through: - exploring the many aspects of recovery - sharing knowledge and tools that help participants take responsibility for their wellness and stability - introducing a variety of self-help techniques - finding effective ways to reach out to family members, friends, and service providers - understanding medications - personal recovery planning Program also provides one-on-one counselling supports and system navigation to individuals living with schizophrenia on an as-needed basis.
