Bulimia Anorexia Nervosa Association (BANA)

The Bulimia Anorexia Nervosa Association (BANA) is a not-for-profit, registered charity, community-based organization. As the primary regional source for the prevention and treatment of eating disorders, BANA is a leader in the promotion and acceptance of diverse body shapes and sizes through the adoption of a healthy, balanced lifestyle. BANA provides the eating disorder specialized diagnostic assessment, cognitive behaviour therapy for eating disorders, nutritional counselling, and body image group. BANA offers families and friends support and referral where appropriate. In addition, BANA conducts community education seminars, health promotion presentations and programs for children and adults. Services are provided without fees and are supported by the Ministry of Health and Home and Community Care Support Services Erie St Clair.
