Mamisarvik Healing Centre provides professional, confidential, non-judgmental recovery and healing services to Inuit men and women. As a branch of Tungasuvvingat Inuit, individuals have access to wrap-around services in the areas of housing, employment, aftercare counselling, parenting, restorative justice and systems navigation. Services Include: - Comprehensive, standardized intake and assessments. - 24-hour staff support. - Individual and group counselling in the areas of trauma, addiction, Inuit history, anger management, harm reduction, assertiveness, family dynamics, safety planning, self-compassion and family counselling. - Cultural supports: Elder counselling services, Inuit country food, cultural celebrations, crafts and recreational activities. - Pre-treatment, continuing care and aftercare support.
