Prevention Diversion Housing Program

Prevention Diversion serves as the initial point of contact for youth aged 16-24 who are homeless or are at immediate risk of becoming so within the City of Kingston. In addition to preventing and diverting youth from homelessness and accessing shelters, case managers will collaborate with the youth to determine their housing needs and explore realistic housing options. Case Managers also assist with obtaining ID, securing a source of income, establishing connections with mental health and addiction services and any other required support within the community to meet the identified needs of the individual.

Intensive Community Crime Prevention

The Intensive Community Crime Prevention (ICCP) program is aimed at reducing youth crime in the city of Kingston. ICCP will engage youth with the highest needs- particularly those individuals who are unwilling or unable to access other community treatment programs.
