Immediate, free, and confidential support for individuals and/or family concerns. Focus is on building strengths, abilities, and resources while working on developing on plan on how to address concerns. Sessions typically last an hour and you can access the service as often as needed.

Counselling and Therapy

Focus: Mental Health

Counselling and therapy services are available to help children and youth who have mental health concerns and their families. The clinicians will work closely with the individual and their family to specify goals and outcomes. Counselling and therapy services can include a range of approaches and settings (e.g., individual, group, family) as well as clinical practices. Services are provided within the context of the family, culture, and community, and can be provided in a range of settings and frequency.

Caregiver Skills Building

Caregiver Skills Building enhances parent/caregiver capacity to understand, support, and adaptively respond to the mental health needs of their children and youth. This service enables parents/caregivers to better address a child or youth’s mental health issues by changing attitudes, and behaviours, providing support as they adjust to a new diagnosis, and/or working to increase consistency, predictability, structure and routines into the home.
