The Gizhewaadiziwin Health Access Centre's Mental Health Program offers both intervention and prevention/education services. Intervention services include individual, family and group counselling to address general mental health issues relating to grief, suicide, stress, family violence, substance use and coping difficulties, as well as some mental illnesses. Advocacy and support services are also provided. The prevention/education services provided include workshops, presentations and networking with other service providers to educate community people about various mental health issues.
