Assertive Community Treatment Teams (ACTT) provides a client-centered, recovery-oriented mental health service that supports community living, psychosocial rehabilitation, and recovery for individuals who have a serious mental illness, have severe symptoms and impairments, and have not benefited from traditional outpatient services. ACTT provides a very intense service providing multiple contacts to an individual if needed.

Program provides court diversion and support services to individuals experiencing active symptoms of a mental disorder and as a result have come in contact with the legal/justice system. The individual is assisted to have charges diverted or supported through the legal process.

Sexual Assault Counselling Centre provides counselling to any individual who has experienced sexual abuse or sexual assault at any times in their lives.

The Family and Information Centre provides support to family members and caregivers supporting a loved one experiencing mental health issues. Family peer support provides information, education, support and service navigation to individuals.

Provides case management services that are available to individuals experiencing a mental illness (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, clinical depression or other serious mental illness). The illness must be of a long-term nature and causing an impairment for the individual, i.e., not able to perform daily tasks, keep a job, go to school etc. Services provided by the case management program include: intake and assessment, goal setting, assistance with linkages to other services and resources. The case manager offers regular support to meet the individual's needs.

The psycho-geriatric outreach program provides comprehensive assessment for individuals experiencing mental health problems. Service includes bio-psychosocial assessments and some short-term follow-up. Special provisions are made for clients under the age of 65 based on history of memory loss.

The Early Intervention Program supports individuals who are experiencing a first episode psychosis. This program provides specialized assessments and supports for the individual and their family when the individual has experienced a first psychotic episode. Individuals will receive support with medications, understanding the signs and symptoms of their illness, assistance to access financial support, crisis, social and group activities.

Program provides a crisis intervention service to individuals. Local mobile team available for response to Renfrew County. Individuals are referred to the most appropriate organization.

Community Homes for Opportunity (CHO) is a supportive housing program for individuals with a serious mental illness. The program assists tenants by providing appropriate housing and support services to achieve and maintain stability in a safe, affordable home. The aim is to improve and/or stabilize peoples’ physical and mental health and to foster independence, while enhancing participation and integration into the community.

Crisis stabilization beds are available at various locations throughout Renfrew County. The goal is to help with crisis resolution through a short period of supported placement in a crisis stabilization bed. Support is limited to daytime hours. Admission is voluntary. Discharge planning and linking to other services and supports is ongoing throughout the stay. Crisis staff provides telephone and face to face triage, assessment, intervention and linking to other services for individuals with a mental health problem. Model of service is short-term crisis stabilization residential. Support is not available during overnight hours.
