Provides psychiatric consultation for older adults who reside in the community. A psychiatrist at Baycrest Hospital completes a psychiatric assessment and makes treatment recommendations, and, in some instances, time-limited follow up. Psychiatric treatments including pharmacological management and psychotherapy; individual and family treatment.

Provides care, support and education to clients who may have a diagnosis of, or suspected diagnosis of, depression, bipolar mood disorders, mood disorders associated with other brain disorders, complicated bereavement or anxiety. Provides support to families of our clients through education and counselling.

The GPCS is a community outreach program that provides mental health related service to individuals who are not able to access treatment at the onsite Ambulatory Mental Health Clinic and/or those who require case management. The interprofessional services include: - Assessment and diagnosis, - Treatment including medication management and non-pharmacological approaches Case management including: - advocating for the best possible services on behalf of clients and families - monitoring and ongoing support of clients - referrals and coordinating access to other Baycrest services and/or community programs

A 20-bed unit that provides assessment and treatment for older people experiencing a wide range of psychiatric disorders. This is a short stay program. Also provides ECT and peer support.

An outpatient service adults over the age of 65 with complex medical and psychosocial issues such as depression, anxiety and other mental health illnesses. The interprofessional services include: - Assessment and diagnosis, - Treatment including medication management and non- pharmacological approaches such as psychotherapy, relaxation and breathing techniques - Problem solving therapy and goal s-setting - Group-based counselling/therapy - Group interventions/activities
