This program provides community-based services for individuals experiencing problems related to behavioural and process addictions such as
gambling, gaming, shopping, technology over-use and hypersexuality. Family members/significant others affected by the problem behaviour of a loved one are also accepted as primary clients. ADAPT offers services for individuals where alcohol and/or drug use co-exist with the gambling issues. Specialized programming such as our Intensive 5-Day Problem Gambling Treatment, Gaming Treatment Workshop, Overspending Workshop, Coping Skills Groups and After Care. Youth Gambling and Gaming counselling and support, consultations with other service professionals, and community awareness presentations.

The Youth Family Member Program offers support to parents who are dealing with issues related to the substance use of their children. The Youth Family Member Program also offers services to children and youth who live with a parent/caregiver with a substance use difficulty.

Counselling services are available one-to-one with a concurrent disorder clinician to assess, offer treatment and case management services to clients who are struggling with their substance use and a mental illness.

This program provides assessment, referral, and treatment for clients who are using any opioid substances and/or family members or loved ones of a person using opioids.

Community Withdrawal Management Services (CWMS) counsellors/case managers are available to assist individuals wanting to stop using alcohol and/or other drugs to develop a plan for safe withdrawal. Services include: screening, intake and assessment, counselling, pre-withdrawal planning, acute and post- acute withdrawal monitoring, and support and transitional case management. RN and RPN available on staff for consultation and support.
Focus: Problem Gambling
A 5-day intensive psychoeducational course for individuals who struggle with problematic gambling. Clients in any stage of change are welcome to attend. Participants will need a computer and stable internet connection, in addition to a private space. Attending all 5 days is mandatory in order to complete the program.
