The Intensive Case Management program offers transitional support services from hospital to home.
Our program offers face-to-face psychiatric services on a limited basis. Our workers have hospital privileges in most of the surrounding area and provide inpatient assessment for local physicians.

This program will:
- develop a treatment plan suited to the individual's needs.
- refer to partnering organizations when necessary
- see individuals with process addiction issues.

Friendly visiting and support for seniors (55 years and over) at risk of social isolation, adults living with a physical disability and caregivers.
- Visiting and support can be long term, time limited and/or project/activity focused and offered in the home and/or community.
- Service coordination and interventions by Clinician available, as required, for clients of the program.
- Volunteer (meaningful activity) opportunities available for individuals 14 years and older.

Walk-In Counselling is solution-focused, strength-based and client driven, following a single session model.
Topics can include:
- feeling sad or anxious
- relationship Issues
- parenting issues
- teen issues
- adjusting to new diagnosis
- managing Stress
- life changes or challenges

- feeling overwhelmed
- addictions (personal/loved one)

Individual support for those living with mental health challenges, problematic substance use, problem gambling, and/or concurrent disorders who require support securing and/or maintaining safe and affordable housing.

NOSP Counsellors work collaboratively with client and other service providers to ensure creating relevant community linkages, connections and service coordination.
- Specialized capacity and expertise
- Access Network Partner coordinating access to streamline access to mental health services and other types of support and necessary referral(s) and coordination
- Intake, eligibility and consents as first point of contact for the child, youth or family incorporating strength-based needs and risk assessment(s)

The Parenting Support and Targeted Intervention program offers a spectrum of services that include, but not limited to:
- navigating pathways of care
- training that assists families in learning about mental health problems of children/youth
- other programming that seeks to promote and support the resilience of families
- enhancing the family’s ability to support and adaptively respond to the mental health needs of the young person.

The specialized consultations and assessments will be prioritized for existing clients who:
- present with complex mental health problems
- have not responded to regular treatment
- have a history which indicates recurring difficulty in clarifying a diagnosis or determining effective interventions or treatments

Brief Services offers treatment that also has an educational component designed to support a child and/or family with a single area of concern (i.e. a life event causing significant stress).
Brief services are being developed to focus on providing timely, effective early intervention; reducing the need for more intensive and intrusive interventions; improving functioning and resilience; enhancing awareness and understanding of the presenting problem; and developing coping skills to deal with the problem.

The goal in providing Targeted Prevention services are focused on changing views and behaviours, building skills and competencies and/or creating awareness and resiliency through the provision of information, education, and programming to specific ‘at-risk’ children and youth under the age of 18. Consultation with those most familiar with the children/youth in order to identify risk factors.

This program works with children and youth with significant, identified care needs who require highly intensive services due to significant mental health problems or disorders that impair their functioning at home, school and/or in the community.

Child/Youth Mental Health Counselling services include a series of planned, interrelated interventions based on an assessment of the child/youth and family’s needs and strengths.
The counselling services provide a range of modalities (e.g., Individual, group, family or education based) as well as clinical practices. Services are provided within the context of the family, culture and community and are delivered in a range of settings, at varying frequencies.

The Specialized Community Support – Children Assessment and Counselling program counsels families with children under the age of 18 with a developmental disability in:
- identifying and accessing services
- assisting in developing and implementing appropriate plans
- counsel the child and their caregivers in developing a personal care plan
- providing referrals and services reflective of the care plan.
The primary role is to work with families to gain access to the specialized services.
