Campbellford Memorial Hospital

The Campbellford & District Community Mental Health Centre is a Ministry of Health funded adult outpatient mental health facility that operates under the direction of a local program advisory committee. The centre's professional staff serve adults 16 years and older within the municipality of Trent Hills. Clients must have a defined psychiatric illness, or symptoms of mental illness and significant functional impairment. Service priority is given to the most serious and critical referrals in terms of diagnosis, disability and the duration of symptoms. The centre also provides client treatment for concurrent disorders, dual diagnosis, and early psychosis intervention and court diversion. Professional staff provides an array of clinical services for individuals, families and groups including consultation to other agencies and community education on mental health. Crisis intervention, psychiatric consultation, assessment and treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation, counselling, clinical case management, support and education is offered to individuals who have symptoms of, or have a diagnosis of, a mental illness causing significant difficulty in day to day functioning. Outreach services are provided when necessary.
