The Urgent Consult Clinic is an outpatient clinic that sees children and youth who are presenting with suicidal/homicidal ideation, have made threats of violence, have dyscontrol due to drugs or psychosis, or other urgent mental health concerns that require an immediate risk assessment. The assessment includes a full history taken by a team member who then consults with the Psychiatrist; a diagnosis is provided if needed, and brief crisis-oriented interventions including behavioural and medical management is provided.

Assessment and brief intervention program for adults with mood and anxiety disorders, concurrent disorder, ADHD and mental health issues. This is an outpatient service. Care process includes individual assessment, psychiatric consultation and pharmacological treatment where prescribed.

This program provides early psychosis intervention through assessment, treatment and psychoeducation for individuals, their families and caregivers. Services include case management, psychiatric assessment, treatment, group and family support.

An outpatient mental health service offering treatment for children and youth, and their families who are struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Attention-Deficit Disorders, behavioural problems, learning difficulties and other serious mental health concerns and family dysfunction that have not improved with previous interventions. Psychiatric consultation and psychological assessments are conducted on an as needed basis in collaboration with the Psychiatrist and/or Psychologist.

The Child & Youth Mental Health Eating Disorder (CYMHEDO) Clinic provides assessment and treatment for children and youth with eating disorders. The CYMHEDO team works with the child/youth and their family to create specific treatment goals to correct medical complications, restore body weight and promote normal growth and development, regulate eating patterns, and treat underlying mental health issues. The team consists of a Child Psychiatrist, a Pediatrician, a Behavioural Therapist, a Registered Dietitian, a Social Worker (MSW), and a Nurse Practitioner.

This program is an eating disorder clinic and provides assessment and treatment in the form of group and individual therapy, education, as well as support to families and friends of the referred individual. Service provided by an interdisciplinary team including dietician, registered nurse, nurse practitioner, social worker, psychiatrist, occupational therapist and psychologist.

The Urgent services are part of the outpatient mental health program. It is a voluntary group-based program that may offer an alternative to hospitalization. The program’s focus is to support individuals in their recovery, and help them develop coping skills and take responsibility for their mental health and well-being. Individual support is also provided during the program.
