Clinic operates Monday to Friday, with psychiatrists available for assessments. The clinicians who work in UCC also work in Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) and participate in the initial assessment with the psychiatrist and can offer short term follow up.
Focus: Substance Abuse
Provides low barrier access for patients seeking treatment for any substance use disorder. Provides brief counselling, prescribe medications (including anti-craving medications for alcohol and buprenorphine/naloxone for opiate use disorder) and connect patients with community treatment programs.

Offers treatment to clients who are concerned about their substance use with or without concurrent mental health problems/concerns. Provides comprehensive assessment, individual counselling and a psychiatric consultation and treatment.

Provides language and culturally specific assessment, consultation and treatment to Mandarin and Cantonese speaking people with mental illness. Offers short term psychotherapy, psychosocial skill building (individual and group), and psycho-educational (individual and group).
People accessing this service must be Mandarin or Cantonese speaking and non-English speaking. The two languages served are Mandarin and Cantonese.
Focus: Mental Health
For Mandarin-speaking individuals experiencing their first episode of a serious mental illness are offered individual intervention. Support for families and friends is also provided.
People accessing this service must be Asian and non-English speaking. Program is offered in Mandarin.

Provides psychiatric assessment, consultation and follow up to clients within the Toronto west catchment. Provides brief psychotherapy, and language specific psychosocial rehabilitation and treatment for chronic mental disorders. Primarily offers group based, time limited psychotherapy.

Provides assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to Portuguese speaking people who experience mental health and/or addiction problems.

Addiction, concurrent disorder and problem gambling assessment, treatment and follow-up. Offers relapse prevention, family intervention, group treatment and support. Main treatment models: psychoeducation and cognitive-behavioural.

Mental health, addiction and problem gambling assessments, treatment and follow-up. Offers individual, family and group treatment.
Focus: Mental Health
A 24-hour service physically located in the Emergency Department. The team provides rapid triage, assessment, management and disposition for the adult mental health patient who required these services while in the Emergency Department. Designed to provide a safe, secure, and integrated environment where these assessments can take place.
