Subsidized units available for individuals with substance use issues, complex needs, and histories of inadequate housing and frequent use of emergency services.
Program offers permanent, harm reduction-focused, scattered site units.
Transitional units require abstinence.

Men’s Open Recovery is a weekly support group where men are able to share about their recovery challenges, successes and hopes in a supportive space with other men.
Participants are asked to abstain from substances 24 hours prior to attending group.
Participants must have access to a private and confidential space, access to an email address, stable internet connection, and device with microphone and camera is required to participate.

The Concerned Family and Significant Other groups are part of the Community Counselling program. These groups are designed for family members and significant others who are concerned about their loved ones substance use.
Services include:
- a virtual twice-monthly facilitated discussion group
- in-person individual counselling.
This group service is offered in Kitchener and may also be offered in Cambridge according to need. Individual counselling is offered in both Kitchener and Cambridge.

Counselling is offered in individual and group formats for those with concerns regarding substance use.
Treatment provides staged matched interventions, that are strengths based and client focused.
Referrals are also made to other services including withdrawal management, day treatment, residential treatment, gambling services and other community based services as appropriate.

Counselling is offered in individual and group formats for those with concerns regarding problem gambling, gaming and internet use.
Referrals are also made to other services including day treatment, residential treatment, substance use services and other community based services as appropriate.

Moving Forward provides quick access to information and services to women in recovery who are parenting children less than six years of age, and to work collaboratively with community services. Moving Forward also includes children's care and programming.

A weekly group is available for one year following completion of any residential addiction treatment program for those who have the goal of abstinence.
This group provides an opportunity for men to build supports and receive support through the challenges of early recovery.
Referrals to community supports are provided.

House of Friendship Women's Residential Treatment program has a daily structure Monday to Friday. The program offers a holistic approach to treatment including group work and individual counselling. Each participant is required to uphold weekly responsibilities within the community. We expect abstinence while in program.
The program is comprised of three phases:
- phase one (Assessment period)
- phase two (Therapeutic phase)
- phase three (Re-entry)

Introductory Treatment is a weekly supportive and skill building group designed to prepare you for participation in the Intensive Program.
Intensive Treatment is a 2-week group intended for individuals who believe they can benefit from participating in a virtual or in-person group counselling program and are committed to a lifestyle that supports their individual substance use goals.
