Outpatient Assessment and Treatment service (OATS) offers a time-limited, goal-directed service for people experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges. Psychiatric consultations and treatment as well as group interventions and individual counselling are offered. Some services are offered virtually.

Specialized psychiatric outreach assessment and treatment recommendations for adults who have a diagnosis of Intellectual Disability and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder with significant adaptive/behavioral challenges including self-injurious behavior and/or aggression. Primary focus is on pharmacological management with identification of internal and external referral sources that are a good match for client. This is a consultative service with option for time limited follow-up, determined on a case by case basis.

The Georgianwood Inpatient Program is a 12-week residential treatment program and provides care to patients experiencing a Concurrent Disorder (diagnosed with both a Mental Health Disorder and Substance Use Disorder at the same time). It is one of the only specialty-integrated residential Concurrent Disorders Programs in our region and is held in an inpatient unit that provides group-based skill development. Please note that while individual therapy is not offered on the Georgianwood Program, individuals attending treatment will collaborate closely with a Primary Nurse and the care team to address goals and concerns.

If you are a healthcare/frontline worker or a first responder in our region impacted by stress, you can get simple, fast access to supports and tools for your mental well-being with Frontline Wellness. After conducting an initial intake, you will be scheduled for a 1-hour session with a therapist who will talk to you about your concerns and discuss a menu of services available to you including a flexible plan for brief therapy intervention and symptom management and support, as well as evidence-based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and free counselling.

The Horizon Program for Geriatric Psychiatry is a specialty care inpatient program. We provide psychiatric assessment and treatment to persons aged 65+ with a mental health need and/or a neurocognitive disorder. We accept persons younger than 65 if a neurocognitive/functional disorder is present. We offer a continuum of inter professional services, including: consultation; assessment; treatment/stabilization; transition; and discharge. We encourage and consider the involvement and collaboration of family, caregivers and physicians as essential in providing a supportive network for our patients.

The Acute Assessment Program is an acute care mental health program that functions in a manner similar to a general psychiatric program. The program provides an inter-professional team approach, to assess and offer short-term treatment of acute mental health problems.

A psychosocial rehabilitation based program which provides assessments, treatment and reintegration (discharge planning) into one’s community of choice. Services include pharmacotherapy, group therapy and individual 1:1 support. Focus on patient centered care that encourages involvement from family, caregivers and community mental health services by developing an individualized recovery plan of care.

The Bayview Program for Dual Diagnosis is a specialty care inpatient program. We provide psychiatric assessment and treatment to persons with a developmental disability and a mental health need. We offer a continuum of inter professional services, including: consultation; inpatient assessment; treatment/stabilization; transition; and discharge. To meet the complex needs of persons with a dual diagnosis we encourage and consider the involvement and cooperation of family, caregivers and physicians as essential in providing a supportive network for our patients.

The Ontario Structured Psychotherapy program supports individuals with depression and anxiety related conditions by providing publicly funded, short-term support. These services include guided self-help resources that are supported by a coach or therapist. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and related practices are offered in either one-on-one or group sessions. These sessions can be offered in-person or virtually. Individuals identifying the following issues can be supported: - depression and low mood - generalized anxiety and worry - health anxiety - obsessive-compulsive concerns - other anxiety and stress-related problems - posttraumatic stress - social anxiety and performance fears - unexpected panic attacks and agoraphobic fears
