Individual and family therapy (brief and long-term) for children and youth and their families. May address various mental health concerns including, but not limited to: emotion regulation, anxiety, depression, bullying, self-esteem, separation/divorce, parenting, family relationships, self-harm, and suicide ideation. Within this program, specialized treatment is available within the areas of: attachment, trauma, and intensive in-home support.

This program supports youth who have been charged with a low-risk offence, aged 12 to 17 at the time of the charge, and who have suspected mental health issues. The program will provide an assessment to the Crown, determining whether the youth is suitable for the diversion program. Assistance will also be offered to those who do not meet the criteria. Assistance may include referrals to appropriate community services, transportation (if required), and navigation of the court system.

“Attachment” is the deep emotional tie or connection that an infant forms with a primary caregiver. It is determined by the responsiveness of the caregiver. This program is a component of the larger program - Family and Child Therapy.

An individualized trauma focused cognitive behavioural therapy program is developed for children who are experiencing issues related to a trauma, such as: witnessing abuse or a traumatic event like physical, sexual and emotional abuse, or death. Program offers sexual behaviour assessment. This program is a specialized service within the larger Family and Child Therapy program.

This is an intensive, home-based program that supports parents as they learn to use positive parenting strategies that promote healthy family relationships. Parents work together with a child and family therapist, and child and youth counsellor to identify therapeutic goals that best meet their family’s needs. This is a specialized program within the larger Family and Child Therapy program and will only be offered upon therapist discretion.

This group is for children with parents who are separated/divorced. The core topics include understanding divorce and separation, normalizing divorce and feelings around changes, divorce reactions and expectations, and considering the positive aspects of separation and divorce. There is a mandatory review session at the end for the parents to participate in. This parental session highlights the risks and benefits of communication, the importance of co-parenting and structure and consistency, as well as how to establish circles of support.
